Quick answers about creating QR codes with qrcode.ve.vc.
Yes. The QR code generator is completely free, with unlimited QR code creation and no API key required.
Paste the website URL into the content field, choose the image size and error correction level, then select Generate QR code. You can download the result as a PNG.
No. These are static QR codes: the link or text is stored inside the code itself, so the QR code keeps working for as long as the link it points to works.
Error correction lets a QR code still scan when part of it is dirty, damaged or covered. Low restores about 7% of the code, Medium about 15%, Quartile about 25% and High about 30%. Higher levels make the code denser, so Medium is a good default.
Yes. Add a URL-encoded link to https://qrcode.ve.vc/url= and the API returns a 300 × 300 WebP QR code image. No API key or sign-up is needed. The examples above show how to call it from cURL, JavaScript, and Python.
The on-page demo preview sends the entered content to QRServer to render the QR image. Avoid entering private or sensitive information in the demo.
Completely free to use. Generate and download QR codes whenever you need.
